Eloquent, articulate and outspoken are some of the words that describe Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips. His quest to search for the truth led him from his birth island of Jamaica to the streets of Toronto where he grew up and accepted Islam in 1972. This journey has led him down many paths and he is known the world over as an Islamic scholar, Lecturer, Author and Thinker. Dr. Abu Ameenah completed his B.A. from the College of Islamic Disciplines (Usool ad-Deen) at the Islamic University of Madeenah in 1979, and thereafter went on to complete his Master's in Aqeedah at the University of Riyadh in 1985 and finally obtained his PhD from the University of Wales, U.K. in Islamic Theology in 1994. He has taught Islamic Education and Arabic in private schools, lectured M.Ed. students in the Islamic Studies department of various universities and has founded Islamic information centers while traveling extensively across the globe imparting Islamic knowledge as dictated by the Islamic tradition. Abu Ameenah enjoys playing squash at least three times a week with his wife and sons as a means of keeping fit and de-stressing and he also supervises his children in martial arts. It is interesting to note that in his earlier days, he acquired a black belt in Karate. His greatest achievement is the founding of Islamic Online University that has over 3000 students and authoring over 100 Islamic books of which, the fundamentals of Tawheed is his favourite. He currently resides in Doha, Qatar with his family where continues to teach at the Islamic Studies Academy.

Rasullullah Told Ali Ibn Abi Talib, Something Will Happen Between You And Aysha And This Narrated By Imam Ahmad, Ali Ibn Abi Talid Said: Between Me And Aysha? Rasullullah SAW Said: Yes, He Then Said: I Am The Most Unfortunate People, Something Happens Between Me And The Mother Of The Believers Aysha, I Must Be A Very Unfortunate Person, Rasullullah SAW Said: No And Rasullullah SAW Said And When That Happens Then Take Her Back To Safety. Ali Ibn Abi Talib RA; What Do You Think Allowed Him To Spend The Entire Night In Salah, The Entire Night In Ibaadah Of Allah SWT, The Sahabah Said: That They Left Him After Isha In Ruku And They Came Before Fajr And They Found Him In Rukuu Except There Was One Difference, There Was One Difference, That His Beard Was Soaked, His Beard Was Soaked And There Was A puddle Beneath It, What Gave Him The Happiness To Do That, To Pray All Night, He Was One Of The 10 Promised Jannah My Brothers, Ya Allah; Ya Allah.

Allah's Apostle passed by a grave of a deceased who had been buried at night. He said, ''When was this (deceased) buried?'' The people said, ''Yesterday.'' He said, ''Why did you not inform me?'' They said, ''We buried him when it was dark and so we disliked to wake you up.'' He stood up and we lined up behind him. Yosof Wanly is from the United States. He upholds a Masters degree in Islamic Studies:The Sciences of Hadith, a Bachelors (equivalent) in general Islamic Studies with an emphasis on the Sciences of Hadith, and is currently working on a PhD Islamic Studies:The Sciences of Hadith: Thesis Title: Clarifying the Misconceptions Surrounding Sahih Bukhari with Al-Madinah International University. You Know When Umar Ra; When They Conquered Baitul Maqdis Brothers, Jerusalem, The City Of The Anbiyah, When He Received To The Keys To Baitul Maqdis, A Great Honour Bestowed Upon The Muslims, He Called For His Companion Abu Ubaidah Ibn Jarrah, He Says: All Of This Is Because We Kept Away From Sin And Allah Is Gonna Ask Us, What Have We Done To Serve This Deen After The Prophet Saw And How Little We Have Done And Him And Abu Ubaidah They Went Behind A Tree And They Both Started To Weep, How Little We Have Done, They Conquered Jerusalem Brothers And Sisters, In 10 Years Umar Was Khulafah Rashidun The Roman And Persian Empire Had Been Defeated, The Two Super Powers Of The Day, Umar Was Saying Subhanallah, There Was A Day When I Was A Shepard For My Father, And HE Will Beat Me Up, He Will Hit Me And He Was Very Harsh With Me And Now Look At Where Umar Is, Who Would Imagine That This Would Be Give To Umar, The Shepard Of Yesterday.

Sahl bin Hunaif and Qais bin Sad were sitting in the city of Al-Qadisiya. A funeral procession passed in front of them and they stood up. They were told that funeral procession was of one of the inhabitants of the land i.e. of a non-believer, under the protection of Muslims. They said, ''A funeral procession passed in front of the Prophet and he stood up. When he was told that it was the coffin of a Jew, he said, ''Is it not a living being (soul)?''

It's a unique method of recovery that combines addiction consulting, life coaching and Islamic principals with the option of being done in person, one-on-one at the clients home or by phone. He is passionate about helping Muslims in their addiction recovery, gleaning from his life experiences in personal development and overcoming adversity. He loves working with different types of people and strives to follow the Quran and sunnah. Muslim Sober Companion is an international service offered to the world that is based in Florida, USA.

He has completed an addiction coaching recovery support program and is pursuing a bachelors degree in Islamic psychology. In The Time Of Umar Ibn Khattab There Was Peace And Security And There Was Stability, After Umar Ibn Khattab Passed Away, That's When The Fitan Started, Then Uthman Ibn Affan Became The Khalifah, Uthman Ibn Affan Was Killed, He Was Assassinated, The Difference Between The Assassination Of Umar And Uthman Is That The Assassination Of Umar Was Done By A Disbeliever, But The Assassination Of Uthman Was Done By People Under The Name Of Islam, And That's Why It Opened The Door Of Disunity. And Uthman RA Because Of His Leniency Does Not Act Harshly Towards Them And He Says I Do Not Want A Single Drop Of Blood To Be Shed In My Cause, But Still With That Ali RA Places His Children Al Hasan And Al Hussain To Guard Uthman RA, On That Day; A Thursday July 16; Uthman RA While He's Reading Qur'an And He's Sitting Down, This 82 Year Old Man, He Doses Off And He Falls Asleep At The Time Of Salah Al Asr And He Was Fasting That Day, And He Sees In His Dream Rasullullah SAW; Smiling, And Rsullullah SAW He Says: Ya Uthman, Did They Forbid You From Water? He Said: Yes Ya Rasullullah, He Said: Ya Uthman, Did They Forbid You From Food, He Said: Yes Ya Rasullullah, They Forbade Me From Food, And He Said: Ya Uthman, Did They Forbid You From Praying Salah In My Masjid, And HE Said: Yes Ya Rasullullah, They Forbade Me From Praying Salah In Your Masjid, Rasullullah SAW Says To Him: Good news O Uthman, You're Going To Break Your Fast With Us Tonight; Subhanallah.

When the news of the martyrdom of Zaid bin Haritha, Ja'far and Abdullah bin Rawaha came, the Prophet sat down looking sad, and I was looking through the chink of the door. A man came and said, ''O Allah's Apostle! The women of Ja'far,'' and then he mentioned their crying . The Prophet (p.b.u.h) ordered h im to stop them from crying. The man went and came back and said, ''I tried to stop them but they disobeyed.'' The Prophet (p.b.u.h) ordered him for the second time to forbid them. He went again and came back and said, ''They did not listen to me, (or ''us'': the sub-narrator Muhammad bin Haushab is in doubt as to which is right). '' ('Aisha added: The Prophet said, ''Put dust in their mouths.'' I said (to that man), ''May Allah stick your nose in the dust (i.e. humiliate you).'' By Allah, you could not (stop the women from crying) to fulfill the order, besides you did not relieve Allah's Apostle from fatigue.''

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: 
Born on 1 September 1986 in Durban, South Africa, Abu Muawiyah began his study of Islam at the age of thirteen. After seven years in a Deobandi Darul Uloom, Abu Muawiyah graduated at the age of twenty and continued his study of Islam under scholars from a variety of groups and math’habs.

In 2007, Abu Muawiyah joined the Islamic Online University as one of its first students. In this same year, he met Dr Bilal Philips and became one of his students. In January 2014, he completed a BAIS through the Islamic Online University.

Abu Muawiyah has served as a Da’ee for IIFRI, and as an Islamic Studies, Arabic and Economics teacher at Ihsaan Boys College in 2008. In 2009, he taught Social Studies, English and Economics with an Islamized curriculum at the Al-Fajr International School in Chennai, India.In 2010, he became one of the first Tutorial Assistants of the Islamic Online University’s BAIS program.

He has served as TA for Fiqh, Arabic, Tafseer, Etiquettes, History and Aqeedah at IOU over the past four years, and currently serves as the Head Tutorial Assistant of IOU’s BAIS and Higher Diploma Programs.Abu Muawiyah is the author of “Having Fun the Halal Way: Entertainment in Islam” and hosted two weekly Radio Programs on Radio Al-Ansaar “The Divine Connection: Understanding the Quran” and “Dawah Dynamics” from 2012 until 2013.

Sad bin Ubada became sick and the Prophet along with Abdur Rahman bin Auf, Sad bin Abi Waqqas and Abdullah bin Masud visited him to enquire about his health. When he came to him, he found him surrounded by his household and he asked, ''Has he died?'' They said, ''No, O Allah's Apostle.'' The Prophet wept and when the people saw the weeping of Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) they all wept. He said, ''Will you listen? Allah does not punish for shedding tears, nor for the grief of the heart but he punishes or bestows His Mercy because of this.'' He pointed to his tongue and added, ''The deceased is punished for the wailing of his relatives over him.'' Umar used to beat with a stick and throw stones and put dust over the faces (of those who used to wail over the dead).

The First That Happens To This People When He Is On His Death Bed, His Family Is Sitting All Around Him, The Angel Of Death Descends Upon This Person, You Are Surrounded By Your Family But You Feel So Alone Because Only You Can See These Angels, And You Are Trying Say To Your Family, Help Me, Help Me, But They Can't Help You, Then He Says, O Evil Soul Come Out To The Anger Of Allah And His Punishment, You're In Your Grave And You Can Hear Your Families Footstep As They Leave You But Do You Have Anywhere To Run, Do You Have Anywhere To Hide, Do You Have Anything Protect Yourself With, The Fire Of Jahannam, It Enter In To His Grave And His Grave It Squeezes Him So Tight Until His Ribs Begin To Close On One Another. The Coming Of Hellfire, And Hellfire Brothers And Sisters Is Not A Pit, It Is A Roaring Raging Beast That Is Held Down By 70,000 Chains Holding Each Chain Is 70'000 Angels, There Is No Scene More Terrifying On The Day Of Judgement Than That Scene, Every Creation Of Allah, Martyrs, Prophets, Believers, Nonbelievers, They Will Fall To Their Knees, All They Are Saying Is: O Allah Protect Us, O Allah Protect Us, And The Hellfire Is A Place Of The Most Extreme Suffering, The Most Extreme Pain, Of Every Level That You Can Imagine, Physical, Mental, Spiritual Pain And Suffering And Torment, The People Will Cry In Agony For Water, They Will Cry For Drink, Something To Cool Them And They Will Be Given A Water, They Will Be Given A Drink, But It Is A Boiling Water, That Will Scold Their Faces And Burn Their Inside, This Is The Hellfire. The Guardian Of Hellfire Is Maalik, He's Never Smiled Since The Hellfire's Created, He Has No Remorse, He Has No Feeling Of Sensitivity, He Is Desensitize To All Types Of Horror, No Feelings, Doesn't Feel Sorry For Anyone, Hellfire Is Something Not To Be Taken Lightly, Saying O Our Lord, Please Take Us Out, Take Us Out And Let US Try, Give Us Another Chance, If We Do This Again, Then We Are Truly Oppressors To Ourselves, And Allah Doesn't Even Reply To Them, Allah Doesn't Speak To Them, So Some People Have False Hope, God Will Forgive, God Will Forgive Me, You're Sick, You're Ill, You Need To Cure Yourself, God Can Not Be Fooled SWT.

We went with Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) to the blacksmith Abu Saif, and he was the husband of the wet-nurse of Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet). Allah's Apostle took Ibrahim and kissed him and smelled him and later we entered Abu Saif's house and at that time Ibrahim was in his last breaths, and the eyes of Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) started shedding tears. Abdur Rahman bin Auf said, ''O Allah's Apostle, even you are weeping!'' He said, ''O Ibn Auf, this is mercy.'' Then he wept more and said, ''The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord, O Ibrahim ! Indeed we are grieved by your separation.''

This Sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafat


"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, and this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived...

Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. You are all equal. Nobody has superiority over other except by piety and good action.

Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness oh Allah that I have conveyed your message to your people."
